The Steigenberger is situated directly by El Gouna’s 18 hole USPGA golf course and is surrounded by the lagoons, close to El Gouna’s main facilities.

Board basis details
The Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna is sold on a bed and breakfast basis, which includes buffet style breakfast in the main restaurant. Upgrade to half board to include buffet style dinner in the main restaurant.
Alternatively, upgrade to all inclusive and receive the following package;
- 3 meals a day served buffet style in the main restaurant - breakfast from 6.30am-10.30am; lunch from 1pm-3pm and different themed dinner buffet from 6.30pm-10.30pm.
- Alternative dinner option also available at La Rotisserie 4 course set menu from 6.30pm-10.30pm (reservation required).
- Ice cream and milkshakes available on the Lagoon Terrace for adults and children (11am-5pm)
- Afternoon tea and coffee served on the Lagoon Terrace (4pm-5pm)
- Extended lunch and afternoon snacks on the Lagoon Terrace and the Pool Bar
- A selection of soft drinks, local mineral water, juices, local alcoholic beverages and cocktails (11am-midnight), served at various food and beverage outlets during their opening hours.
- Fruit basket upon arrival
- A variety of watersport activities including pedaloes, windsurfing and canoeing (1 hour, once per stay)
- Introductory dive (check information board for day and time, once per stay)
- Glass boat (one hour, once per stay) reservation must be made one day prior with the Aqua center.
- Introduction to golf for beginners, including clubs and practice balls (takes place on Wednesdays or Saturdays)
- Use of the sauna, steam and fitness room in the Steigenberger Wellness & Health Club (11am-8pm) plus beach volleyball, boccia, table tennis, darts and mountain biking (1 hour per day til sunset)
- Free internet access/24 hrs from Lobby Internet Kiosks.
The Green Bar, Mangrovy Beach snack bar, room service and mini bar are not included in this package. The all inclusive package ends at midday on the day of departure.

The Steigenberger El Gouna offers several dining options;
- The main buffet restaurant, Fairways, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with themed international buffets
- La Rotisserie a la carte restaurant, located in the Club House tower, where half board guests may choose to have a 4 course dinner (set menu) without paying a supplement (excluding drinks)
- Lagoon Terrace serving light lunch, salads and refreshing drinks
- The Green Bar, located in the golf club house, provides a selection of snacks and beverages
- The Par 19 Bar, lobby lounge bar and terrace also serve international beverages.
Not all dining options are included on half board or all inclusive board bases.

The Steigenberger Wellness & Health Club, located adjacent to the Club House, features the Angsana Spa, offering traditional Oriental body treatments by Banyan Tree trained therapists. The hotel is located in the midst of El Gouna’s 18-hole championship level USPGA golf course with putting and chipping greens and an aqua range. Handicap 45 and less necessary and tee time reservation is a must in advance. Golf PGA Pro Academy also available.
Diving & Snorkelling
Any visit to the Red Sea wouldn't be complete without discovering the incredible variety of life and colour beneath the waves. Learn to dive in the Red Sea, or snorkel on some of the world's best reefs.
Diving Guests staying at the Steigenberger El Gouna can dive with our chosen dive centre partner in El Gouna, Dive Tribe, who provide transfers from the Steigenberger to the dive centre and back. Dive Tribe offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers, as well as a variety of watersports. El Gouna is the perfect base for wreck diving, with the famed Abu Nuhas 'ship graveyard' an hour and a half away by boat.
Snorkelling There is no on-site snorkelling at the Steigenberger, but there are ample opportunities from Mangroovy Beach, accessible by courtesy shuttle bus. Equipment can be hired on the beach, of which Steigenberger maintains a private section. Alternatively, guests may choose to visit the islands of Tawila and Gubal, or various other snorkelling sites, on a boat day trip with Dive Tribe.
