An impressive property, the luxurious Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel Hurghada offers an extensive range of facilities and traditional Egyptian hospitality.
The Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel is set in landscaped gardens, on the shores of the Red Sea, overlooking its own 400m private sandy beach, 6km from the airport and 5km from the town centre of Hurghada.

Board basis details
The Steigenberger Al Dau Hurghada is sold on a bed and breakfast basis, which includes buffet style breakfast in the main restaurant. Upgrade to half board to include buffet style dinner in the main restaurant.
Alternatively, upgrade to the hotel's Luxury All Inclusive Package to receive the following;
Breakfast: Buffet breakfast served in the main restaurant (7am-10am), early Continental breakfast (5am-7am) or late Continental breakfast (10.30am-11.30am) served in the Karibu lobby lounge.
Lunch: Buffet lunch in the main restaurant (1pm-3pm). An alternative lunch options is available in the Tamarind restaurant, or an a la carte service at the Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar or at the Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar (1pm-4pm). Special children's menus are available at Tanga and Bwala restaurants.
Dinner: Buffet dinner in the main restaurant (6.30pm-10.30pm). A four course dinner is available at Alexanders restaurant & bar (twice a week, prior reservation required; 6.30pm-10.30pm). Special children's menus are available at Alexanders. A credit of 30LE (per guest) is also available towards dinner at Alexanders a la carte restaurant (prior reservation required).
Snacks: Afternoon tea (4.00pm-6.00pm) and evening snacks (10.30pm-12.30am) are served in the Karibu Looby Lounge. Ice cream (12pm-6pm) is available at the Bwala Pool restaurant & Bar and Tanga Beach restaurant & Bar. A fruit plate is included in your room, once, on arrival day.
Beverages: A selection of local soft drinks, mineral water, canned juices, coffee and tea, draft local beer, house wine and local spirits available at a variety of outlets, 24 hours a day.
Sports & leisure: Free use of the gym and jogging track (open 24 hours), free access to Jacuzzi Island (9am-6pm), unlimited use of pedaloes and canoes at the Aqua centre on the beach (9am-6pm), unlimited bicycle rental within the hotel's premises ( 9am-sunset, no reservations required), tennis courts (including rackets and balls and during daylight hours), table tennis, darts, air hockey and table football in the games room (9am-sunset) and billiards in the Billiard room (10am-10pm). Intro dive in the pool (every Monday and Saturday at 11am), introduction to windsurfing at the Aqua
centre on the beach (daily at 12pm weather permitting), unlimited daytime rounds of golf for qualified golfers (including clubs; golf balls will be at a charge reserve at the Golf Club House 7.30am-9pm).
Other: Laundering of five garments per person per stay; free Hurghada centre shuttle bus service (one day prior reservation required).
All beverages are ordered and served by the glass, one drink at a time, per person. Imported/alcoholic beverages, room service, mini bar and Juici bar (Spa) are not included in the All Inclusive package. Sports activities are subject to availability and time restrictions may apply. Wireless internet/in-room internet, diving, watersports, Algotherm Red Sea Thalasso & Spa access, treatments &packages, golf except daytime tee times and shisha are not included in the all inclusive package. The all inclusive package ends at midday on your day of departure.

- Tamarind, the hotel's main restaurant, serves buffet style international cuisine with themed dinners and once weekly gala buffet dinner
- Alexanders restaurant and terrace, situated on the seashore offering fine dining in the evening
- Bwala pool restaurant serves à la carte lunches and all-day snacks and beverages
- Tanga beach restaurant offers à la carte light dishes and snacks
- 24-hour Karibu lobby lounge provides a menu of snacks and light dishes
- Ukumbi café serves cakes, pastries, finger sandwiches and ice cream
- Fruit juices and cocktails are on offer at the Juici bar, located in the hotel spa.
Not all facilities are included on half board or all inclusive board bases.

Diving Guests staying at the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel have access to Divers' Lodge or Easy Divers, our preferred dive centre partners in Hurghada. Both centres offer a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers, as well as a variety of watersports. The area is home to some of the Red Sea's best known dive sites including the Black Canyon and Careless Reef (more info on diving in Hurghada).
Snorkelling There are very limited snorkelling opportunities from the hotel's beach but daily snorkelling trips to nearby sites are available from the dive centre.
