Board basis details
The Intercontinental Abu Soma is sold on a bed and breakfast basis, which includes buffet style breakfast in the main restaurant. Upgrade to half board to include buffet style dinner in the main restaurant.
Alternatively, upgrade to all inclusive to receive the following package;
- Buffet style meals served three times a day in the main restaurant, Cafe Stella; breakfast from 6.30am-9.30am (late risers Continental breakfast served 10.30am-11.30am); lunch from midday to 3pm and dinner from 6pm-10.30pm.
- Additional a la carte lunch option available at Azur Bar (12pm-3pm)
- Alternative three course set dinners available in the Lebanese, Italian and Greek/Seafood restaurants (prior reservation required)
- Light snacks served daily at the Windsurf Beach Bar (12pm-6pm)
- High tea served daily in the Atrium piano lounge (12pm-6pm)
- Ice cream available in the Azur and Windsurf beach bars from midday to sunset.
- A selection of unlimited soft drinks, local natural and sparkling water, canned juices, local wines and beer available from a variety of outlets from midday to midnight.
- Mini Bar replenished once per day - Alcoholic beverages and snacks are chargeable.
- Health club use, including gym, sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi (subject to availability and pre-booking).
- Table tennis, darts, billiards and tennis during the day time.
- Half hour free trial tennis lesson, per person.
- Yoga, beach volleyball, and dance lessons.
Room service, mini-bar, Johnny's Bar, Cleopatra Discotheque, speciality restaurants, New Year's Eve gala dinner, shisha and tobacco products are not included in the all inclusive package. Please note the all inclusive package ends at midday on the day of departure.

Diving Guests staying at the Intercontinental Abu Soma can dive with our chosen dive partner in Soma Bay, Orca Dive Club - located at the Sheraton Soma Bay. Orca offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers including boat and shore diving. Please note guests staying at the Intercontinental must arrange and pay for transfers to and from the dive centre locally.
Snorkelling The Intercontinental Abu Soma does not have a house reef, but has a long beach with some small coral formations. Equipment can be hired from the on-site dive centre. Guests wishing to snorkel can visit nearby sites such as Sharm el Naga (boat trip bookable locally).
Entertainment
Relax in Johnny’s Bar, a cosy and authentic English-style pub, or experience the latest in sound and light technology with nightly shows at the Cleopatra Discotheque, plus daily live music.
