1 Day Petra
Beyond the towering mountains and rock formations of Wadi Rum, which mesmerised Lawrence of Arabia, lies the Siq Canyon, where a short walk along a narrow winding passageway leads to the magnificent Rose Red City of Petra.
No site in Jordan captures the imagination as dramatically as the breathtaking Nabataean structures carved into the brilliantly coloured rocks which rise toward the skies in continually changing shades of red, orange and pink.
Transfer from your hotel to the Israel/Jordan border and begin your Jordanian adventure travelling along the King’s Highway through the Moab Mountains, passing by Aaron’s Tomb to Wadi Moussa. In Petra visit the Treasury and Amphitheatre whilst wandering around the ancient rock tombs and burial places, hearing the amazing story from your Jordanian guide before returning through the canyon for a buffet lunch. After lunch visit Moses Spring then drive south via Aqaba - Jordan’s only seaport - before returning to Eilat. |

St Catherine's Monastery
Moses travelled for 40 years with the Children of Israel through the Sinai desert, receiving the Ten Commandments on the way. Nearly 2000 years later, a monastery was built near the Chapel of the Burning Bush at the foot of Mount Sinai, and today still houses the art and icons which were protected from Islamic fury by a letter from the prophet Mohammed. |

From here, your trek will take approx. 3 hours until you reach the summit - at a height of 2285m. Once at the peak, watch as the blanket of night is swept away and a new sun illuminates and floods the surrounding area with spectacular colour.
After your descent, a visit to the Monastery of St Catherine is included before setting off to Eilat for an afternoon arrival.

Camel Trek
The camel – ‘ship of the desert’, and in the past the main porter of the international desert trade – is still the Bedouin means of transportation through endless deserts today.
Only on the back of a camel can you experience the true feeling of the desert……magical, mysterious and enchanting - as you ascend into the Eilat Mountains.
Drink a cup of Bedouin tea and taste their traditional bread while watching the sun set, the stars shine and the lights of Eilat and Aqaba twinkling in the distance.
Choose from 1½ hour, 2 hour and 4 hour tours. |

Coral World, the Underwater Observatory, Coral 2000 & the Oceanarium
The Coral World complex is Eilat’s no.1 attraction and your window to the Red Sea. From within the Underwater Observatory, 6m below sea level, view the beauty of the Red Sea’s natural coral reefs while all around you marine life and tropical fish gaze peacefully back.
Try a 20-minute safari aboard the Coral 2000 semi-submersible, experiencing a guided tour from your own private window along the coral reefs.
Visit the Marine Museum, home to a rare collection of Red Sea fish and sea horses or ride the Oceanarium, a simulated journey under the sea. Sharks, sea turtles and giant stingrays live together in harmony as you watch from just a few metres away, with feeding time daily between 11.30-13.30.
With souvenir, jewellery and photo shops, a restaurant and coffee shop, here you can experience all that there is to find in the Red Sea without getting your feet wet. |
