The perfect itinerary for any lover of sun and sand! This itinerary combines the very different beaches of the Mediterranean and Red Sea in a single week, with stops in cosmopolitan Tel Aviv and laid back Eilat.

Itinerary

Day 1

Depart from the UK for your flight to Tel Aviv. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for check in. Overnight in Tel Aviv.

Days 2 & 3

With 13km of glorious sand lined with cafes, bars and restaurants, Tel Aviv's beach is unmissable. During the day it's busy with sunbathing locals and tourists alike but it's at night that it truly comes alive as the city workers head to the beach to relax and an almost carnival atmosphere pervades. And should you tire of the beach, there's plenty to do away from the golden shores - tour the arty district of Neve Tzedek, explore the winding alleys and stone buildings of Old Jaffa or soak in the city's Bauhausian architecture - there's a plenty of options in Israel's biggest city. Day 4

You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Eilat. On arrival in Eilat, you will check in to your chosen hotel (transfer from the airport to the hotel not included), with plenty of time to enjoy a stroll along the resort's promenade.

Days 5-7

Eilat's beaches are very different to those in Tel Aviv - while the latter are perfect for swimming from the shore, in Eilat it's all about the reef. You can snorkel it, dive it or even examine it from the Underwater Observatory, but the one thing you can't do is miss it. Behold magnificent coral formations, multi-coloured fish and a variety of sea creatures of all shapes and sizes.

There's also plenty to do in and around Eilat - take advantage of the VAT free shopping in the city's many designer shops and malls or enjoy a meal out at one of the many various restaurants or cafes. In town there are several attractions including Dolphin Reef, where you can snorkel or dive with semi-wild dolphins in their natural environment, while for the more adventurous, there are excursions into the desert on quad bike or camel. And if your curiosity has been excited by all the history that abounds in the region, St Catherine's Monastery, the Dead Sea, Mount Sinai, Petra and Cairo are all accessible on day trips.

Day 8

You will check in to your internal flights to Tel Aviv at Eilat airport (transfers from hotel to Eilat airport not included). From Tel Aviv you will fly back to the UK.
