Enjoy the freedom that travelling by car brings, and the flexibility afforded by being able to decide on short notice what your next stop will be. Staying in the unique Kibbutz hotels, you will gain a further insight into the lifestyle and atmosphere of Israel's iconic Kibbutzim, which represented for so long an ideal and a movement in Israel and around the world. After a week's exploration, relax by the Red Sea with three nights in Eilat.

 

Itinerary

 

Day 1

Depart from the UK for your flight to Tel Aviv. On arrival, your Avis car will be awaiting you at the airport (please note local charges apply, payable at the airport), from where you will drive to your first night's accommodation. We advise you to book at least your first night's accommodation in advance of departing the UK.

 

Days 2-7

We will have issued you with accommodation vouchers with your tickets and you can use these at a range of Kibbutz hotels across the country. At each stop-over, the Kibbutz hotel will assist you in booking the next stage of your tour and will offer helpful advice on the route to the next Kibbutz hotel. In peak season, we highly recommend pre-booking all your accommodation and fixing your itinerary in advance. You can stay in a different Kibbutz hotel every night if you wish, and can stay at each for up to four nights.

 

Days 8-10

Drive to Eilat in the morning, where you will check into your chosen hotel. Spend the next three days exploring Eilat and its surrounds. Ideal for both sun seekers and the active, Eilat offers a range of activities in resort and further afield. Divers and snorkelers will be dazzled by the marine life that thrives on the resort's reefs, while those who'd prefer not to get wet can view the underwater world from the Underwater Observatory. Dolphin Reef offers guests a unique opportunity to observe dolphins at play in their natural environment - you can even dive or snorkel with them (at a distance)! The desert offers the opportunity for a range of activities that include camel trekking, jeep safaris and quad biking, or you can simply lay by the pool and relax. Day 11

Drive to Eilat airport, where you will drop off your car (you can alternatively drop off your car on day 8 on arrival in Eilat) and check in to your flight to Tel Aviv, from where you will return to the UK.
