The Palace at Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam offers several tempting dining options including The Olive Restaurant, a true fine dining experience, where Michelin star chef Conrad Gallagher puts a fresh twist on ancient Arabic and Mediterranean recipes. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner on an extensive outdoor terrace set amongst grand palm trees where guests can take in spectacular views of the Red Sea. Also available for light snacks and refreshments is the Pool Bar situated overlooking the beach with excellent views of the Red Sea, and The Look Out Bar, the ideal venue for pre and post dinner drinks in a stunning outdoor. |

Diving Guests staying at the Sahara Sun Oasis have access to Emperor Divers, our preferred dive centre partner in Marsa Alam - located nearby in Port Ghalib at the Marina Lodge. Courtesy vehicles will take you between the hotel and the dive centre, who offer a range of packages and courses for qualified divers as well as absolute beginners. Snorkelling Port Ghalib has two beach areas; the southern beach is ideal for swimmming, while the eastern beach offers access via a jetty to the reefs that surround the resort, and is perfect for snorkellors. Alternatively, guests may choose to visit other nearby dive sites with Emperor Divers, our local dive centre partner. |
