Seastar watersports centre has been offering diver training since 1988 and was Jordan's first PADI 5 Star facility. Seastar offers comprehensive facilities for recreational diving of all levels and experience as well as diver training from 10 years and up. The centre is located at Club Murjan, a private club located within the marine reserve of Aqaba, 10km south of the centre. There are three house reef systems to provide an extensive choice of shore diving opportunities, and also offers an excellent training area for courses. The club offers ideal facilities for both divers and non-divers alike.

Dive centre transfers
Central departure point from the car park in front of the Alcazar hotel, or collection from other hotels, with notice.

Yes, at Club Murjan with three house reefs (Eel Garden, Cazar Reef and First Bay)
Diving day
Twice daily, 10am from Club Murjan/Seastar and again at 2pm. A third dive can also be scheduled as a 'lunchtime dive' from one of the house reefs.
Night diving is also available.
Local rules & etiquette
- A guide must accompany divers at all times.
- Night dives must be accompanied by a coast guard representative.
- Maximum depth is 30m.
