Local rules & etiquette
- A guide must accompany certified divers with less than 20 logged dives.
- A check out dive is required, at a cost of $42, if you have not dived in the last six months.
- In addition to your holiday insurance, which must sufficiently cover you for diving, in Eilat a further insurance must be purchased according to local diving law. This covers any emergency medical treatment that may be required in the unlikely event of a diving accident.
