Pharaoh Dive Club is a British owned and operated club offering an informal, relaxed atmosphere with the emphasis on ensuring that every guest feels a part of the club and thoroughly enjoys every dive experience.

As a PADI National Geographic 5 Star IDC Gold Palm Resort facility, quality of service is assured across the full range of courses and packages - from guiding to all levels of training. As an active Official Project AWARE centre, Pharaoh Dive Club operate many initiatives to aid the local culture and environment.

Location

A few kilometres south of the Movenpick and the Radisson BLU El Quseir hotels.

Dive centre transfers

Guests will be collected from and returned to their hotels by Pharaoh Dive Club.

Boat diving

Yes, boat diving is offered on Pharaoh Dive Clubs' 30m purpose designed dive boat. Daily trips leave around 9am for either two tank full days or half day trips. For those only wanting a single dive, zodiac diving is also offered to more local sites.

Shore diving

Yes, daily trips are offered to various sites along 60km of coastline, offering a tremendous variety of sites and marine life.

House reef

Yes, own house reef where dolphins are often found along with a more elusive resident dugong. Unguided dives are possible, subject to diver experience and qualifications.

Diving day

Boats depart at 9am and 9.30am for single dives returning around noon; afternoon dives leave at approximately 2pm and return around 5.30pm along with the full day trips.

Local rules & etiquette

- Maximum depth is 30m for recreational scuba divers.

- All Open Water divers with less than 30 logged dives who have not dived in the last 12 months will be required to complete a check out dive at a cost of €60.

- A Scuba Review is recommended, at a cost of €125, if you have not dived for 12 months or more.

Technical diving

Yes. PADI Cavern Diver Speciality to NCAD standards, providing a solid grounding continued Cave or Cavern diving education. All dives are conducted using full cave diving equipment.

Camera hire

Lunch

Lunch is available at the dive centre base for shore diving and RIB excursions. Hard boat dives include a freshly prepared hot lunch with hot and cold drinks available all day.

Non-Divers

Non divers and snorkellers are welcome on trips with divers at a cost of €28 boat/€15 land, payable locally. Supplements may apply, depending on the destination.
