Location

Emperor Divers is located at Moreen Beach which is situated 20km south of Port Ghalib, however the dive centre still operates all diving boats from the Marina Lodge hotel so guests still enjoy the same, easy 'zero transfer' diving that Emperor has always offered.

Courtesy vehicles are provided for guests staying at hotels other than the Marina Lodge Port Ghalib (where the dive centre is located).

Guests should be at the centre for 8am. The boat usually returns to the jetty between 4-4.30pm.

Local rules & etiquette

- Maximum depth limit is 30 metres for recreational scuba divers.

- A Scuba Review is recommended, at a cost of €90, if you have not dived for 6 months or more.

- Children under the age of 4 will not be allowed on any Emperor day diving boats.

- Children over the age of 4 years and up to 15 years must be supervised by a parent or designated responsible adult at all times. Emperor Divers cannot provide a legal chaperone service.
