Red Sea Diving College is a 5 Star Career Development Centre holding PADI's Certificate of Excellence and PADI Project Aware Foundation Environmental Achievement Award. The Red Sea Diving College is acknowledged by PADI as providing the highest standards of education and professionalism and has been voted by the readers of Diver Magazine as Dive Centre of the Year 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

The college arranges numerous boats leaving every day to the sites of the northern Red Sea for both students and qualified divers. With 25 full time instructors as well as a crew of 50 support staff you can be sure that your diving adventure will be one to treasure.

Location

Red Sea Diving College is located in the heart of Naama Bay, on the beach front near to the Jolie Ville Maritim Resort & Casino.

Dive centre transfers

Guests will be collected from and returned to their hotels by the Red Sea Diving College's complimentary shuttle bus. Pick ups are not usually made from the Tropitel Naama Bay Hotel, the Jolie Ville Maritim Resort & Casino or the Hilton Fayrouz Resort, unless special arrangements are made for first and last day equipment transfers (as these hotels are within easy walking distance of the dive centre).

Diving day

The diving day at Red Sea Diving College starts at around 8.30am, heading out to the first dive site and returning to the jetty by about 4pm-5pm.

Night dives may be arranged with your dive guide.

Local rules & etiquette

- Maximum depth limit is 30m for recreational scuba divers.

- A check out dive in the bay is required, at a cost of €35 (payable locally), if you have not dived for 6 months or more.

- Trips to Ras Mohamed, Straits of Tiran or the Thistlegorm are not available on the first day of diving and require a suitable level of certification and experience.

Other facilities

Restaurant and cafeteria, photo and video shop, dive shop, beach and beach bar, classroom, showers, locker room and equipment storage.

Nitrox

Yes, free 32% to all Enriched Air Nitrox certified divers. 36% EAN €8 per tank, custom mix €10 per tank. Trimix also available.

Technical diving

Yes; DSAT, IANTD, TDI up to trimix level in open circuit or rebreather.

Camera hire

Lunch

A hot buffet-style lunch will be served on all boat trips at a cost of 50LE including drinks (approx £6).

Non-Divers

A passenger/snorkeller is welcome on board day boats at a cost of €35 per day.
