1 PADI Certification fees €35 per course (learn to dive courses & continuing education courses)

3 Equipment hire €14 per day (continuing education courses & packages for qualified divers)
4 Scuba Review, if required, €60 (continuing education courses & packages for qualified divers)
5 Guided diving €5 per dive (packages for qualified divers)
6 Reef tax & permission fee €3 per day (packages for qualified divers)

What's included?

All introductory dives and learn to dive courses include equipment, while continuing education courses include tanks, weights and air. Certification and study materials are not included in course prices. Study material must be purchased prior to departure from the UK, or locally (click here for further details). It is advisable to begin reading the manual prior to starting the course.

Packages for qualified divers include tanks, weights, but do not include a guide. For divers with less than 30 logged dives, guided dives are compulsory. PADI divers with the Scuba Diver qualification may have to pay a supplement locally for the services of a private guide.

Taking your diving equipment with you

Standard baggage allowance is 20kg per passenger. Some of the airlines we use allow divers an extra allowance for dive equipment (detailed below). Any additional allowance is at the discretion of airline check in staff, unless previously arranged.

Please expect to pay excess baggage charges for any overweight luggage.

Monarch Airlines

- Divers are allowed an extra 5kg for dive equipment, free of charge on production of a valid diving certification.
- For a payment of £25 per sector, divers can purchase another 20kg on top of their normal luggage allowance for the round trip. Thereafter, normal excess charges will apply.

Payment Can be made at the airport in the day of departure.

- Divers are allowed an extra 5kg for dive equipment, free of charge on production of a valid diving certification.
- For a supplement of £25 per person round trip, divers are allowed an extra 5kg for diving kit; this must be packed in a separate bag.
