Aqua-Sport is British owned and British run and was the first scuba diving centre in the Middle East. Over forty years of experience and thousands of successful students have earned Aqua-Sport an unparalleled reputation for diver training.
Location: On Coral Beach, Eilat, less than 50m from the sea.
Dive centre transfers: Guests will be collected from their hotels in the morning but are expected to make their own arrangements for their return journey. For Sinai boat diving, guests must report to the Aqua-Sport office at 8.30am prompt. There is no hotel pick-up service provided.
Boat diving: Yes - Japanese Gardens and daily Sinai boat diving.
Shore diving: Yes - guided diving travelling air-conditioned mini-vans equipped with trailers to various sites or explore the nearby reefs with your buddy.
Technical Diving available: Yes
House reef: Yes; Aqua-Sport is located within the Nature Reserve.
Diving day:Guided shore dives depart daily at 9am, 11am and 2 pm (plus 4pm in summer). Boat dives to Japanese Gardens depart at 9.30am and return at 1.30pm. Sinai boat dives depart at 8.30am and return at 4.30pm approximately.
Nitrox: Yes - $8 per tank.
Camera hire: Yes
Lunch: Available at the cafeteria. Included for Sinai boat diving.
Non-Divers: Snorkelling from the beach and daily Coral Island snorkelling cruise.
Local rules & etiquette: A guide must accompany Open Water divers. A check out dive is required, at a cost of $60, if you have an Open Water license and/or 20 logged dives or less and/or no license in your possession. A check dive is also recommended for divers who have not dived in the last 6 months or never dived in the Red Sea before. In addition to your holiday insurance, which must sufficiently cover you for
diving, at Aquasport Eilat a further insurance must be purchased
according to local diving law. This covers any
emergency medical treatment that may be required in the unlikely event of
a diving accident.
Other facilities: Cafeteria, bar, beach, showers, Bedouin tent and volleyball. |

Packages, Courses & Prices
All Introductory dives and
courses include equipment. Certification and study materials are not
included in course prices. Study material must be purchased prior to
departure from the UK, or locally (click here
for further details). It is advisable to begin reading the manual
prior to starting the course.
Packages for qualified divers include tanks, weights and air for 2 dives per day. PADI divers with the Scuba Diver qualification may have to pay a supplement locally for the services of a private guide.
Extras payable locally (if applicable):
1.PADI Certification fees $40 per course (Learn to Dive Courses & Continuing Education Courses).
2.Equipment hire $20 per day payable locally for a full set of scuba diving equipment (Continuing Education Courses & Packages for
Qualified Divers).
3.Check out dive if required $60 (Continuing Education Courses & Packages for
Qualified Divers).
4.Compulsory diving insurance $25 (Learn to Dive Courses, Continuing Education Courses & Packages for Qualified Divers).
5.Dives in the Nature Reserve $7 per dive (Continuing Education Courses & Packages for Qualified Divers).
