Divers' Lodge Hurghada is a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm IDC, BSAC Premier Centre and the longest established TDI facility in the Middle East. Divers' Lodge offers a complete programme of recreational and technical diving including courses, daily diving, safaris, special trips and snorkelling.
Divers' Lodge has been established since 1993 and offers the full range of PADI, BSAC and SDI recreational courses. The team is also renowned for pioneering Technical Diving in the Red Sea and prides itself on the quality and professionalism of its team.

Location: At the marina of the Intercontinental in Hurghada.
Instructions for 1st day of diving: A welcome letter will be waiting for you on check-in at your hotel and will notify you of your pick up time.
Dive centre transfers: Guests will be collected from and returned to their hotels by Divers' Lodge.
Boat diving: 2-4 dives a day.
Shore diving: No
Technical Diving available: Yes. Divers' Lodge are technical diving specialists, offering the full curriculum of TDI courses from Nitrox to Advanced Trimix Instructor, including Rebreathers, Advanced Wreck and Gas Blending. On-site custom blending for Trimix and Heliox. Technical Equipment rental.
House reef: No.
Diving day: The boats depart from the marina next to the dive centre at 8.30-9am every day. A morning dive is followed by a buffet lunch on board, and then the boats move to second dive site for the afternoon dive. The boats return to the centre between 4-5pm. Third dives and night dives are also available.
Nitrox: Yes. Less than 50% EAN €6 per tank, more than 50% EAN €8 per tank. Helium and O2 are also available.
Camera hire: Yes
Equipment rental: Approximately €24 per day, payable locally, for a full set of scuba diving equipment.
Lunch: On boat, 50LE.
Non-Divers: Welcome on boat for snorkelling or relaxation, at a cost of €20, payable locally.
Local rules & etiquette: Maximim depth is 30m for recreational diving, 55m for extended range and 100m for Advanced Trimix. A check out dive is required, at a supplement of €10, if you have not dived for 6-12 months. A scuba review is required, at a cost of €80, if you have not dived for a year or more.
Other facilities: Private beach, swimming pool, marina with watersports facilities, childcare, restaurants and bars at hotel, lockers, shop and repair facility.

Packages, Courses & Prices

All Introductory dives and courses include equipment. Continued education courses include tanks, weights and air. Certification and study materials are not included in course materials. Study material must be purchased prior to departure from the UK, or locally (click here for further details). It is advisable to begin reading the manual prior to starting the course.
Packages for qualified divers include tanks, weights and air for 2 dives per day. PADI divers with the Scuba Diver qualification may have to pay a supplement locally for the services of a private guide.
