Location: Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib, just a few metres away from the dive boats moored on the hotel jetty.
Dive centre transfers: Courtesy vehicles are provided for guests staying at hotels other than the Marina Lodge Port Ghalib.

Diving day: Guests should be at the centre for 8:00am. The boat usually returns to the jetty between 4:00-4:30pm.

Local rules & etiquette: Maximum depth limit is 30 metres for recreational scuba divers. A Scuba Review is recommended, at a cost of €90 if you have not dived for 6 months or more.

Packages, Courses & Prices

*Students will do one days' diving (equipment not included ) prior to starting the Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver & Enriched Air Nitrox Course.
All Introductory dives and courses include equipment. Certification and study materials are not included in course prices. Study material must be purchased prior to departure from the UK, or locally (click here for further details). It is advisable to begin reading the manual prior to starting the course.
Packages for qualified divers include tanks, weights and air for 2 dives per day. PADI divers with the Scuba Diver qualification may have to pay a supplement locally for the services of a private guide.

1. PADI Certification fees €35 per course (learn to dive courses & continuing education courses).
2. Lunch and drinks on boat 45LE per day
3. Equipment hire €25 per day (packages for qualified divers).
