Based at the Hyatt Regency and Ritz Carlton Sharm el Sheikh, Red Sea Waterworld provides a convenient diving option for guests staying at these hotels (not available to guests staying at other hotels). Red Sea Waterworld Sharm el Sheikh is a PADI Gold Palm resort, and is run by the holding company Sinai Services, which has over twenty five years experience in running diving and watersports centres in the Sinai area (including Red Sea Waterworld Taba and Red Sea Diving College Sharm el Sheikh).

Location: At the Hyatt Regency, in Garden Reef Bay - very convenient for the Gardens dive site. Another site is located at the Ritz Carlton in Ras Um Sid.
Dive centre transfers: Walk from your room to the dive centre, except for boat diving, when you will be transferred to Naama Bay Jetty by Red Sea Waterworld.
Boat diving: Yes - transfer to Naama Bay jetty.
Shore diving: Yes - from both hotels (Hyatt Regency is located on the Middle Garden dive site)
Technical Diving available: No
House reef: Yes
Diving day: Wake up & dive! The diving day at Red Sea Waterworld starts at around 8.30am, heading out to the first dive site and returning by about 4pm to 5pm. Shore diving times are flexible. Night dives may be arranged with your dive guide.
Nitrox: Yes, free 32% to all Enriched Air Nitrox certified divers. 36% EAN €8 per tank, custom mix €10 per tank.
Camera hire: No
Lunch: A hot buffet-style lunch will be served on all boat trips at a cost of 50LE including drinks. Shore divers can purchase lunch at the hotel.
Non-Divers: A passenger/snorkeller is welcome onboard day boats at a cost of €35 per day.
Local rules & etiquette: Maximum depth limit is 30m for recreational scuba divers. A check out dive is required, at a cost of €45, payable locally, if you have not dived for 6 months or more. Trips to Ras Mohamed, Straits of Tiran or the Thistlegorm are not available on the first day of diving and require a suitable level of certification and experience.
Other facilities: Facilities as per the facilities at the Hyatt Regency/Ritz Carlton.

Packages, Courses & Prices

All Introductory dives and courses include equipment. Certification and study materials are not included in course prices. Study material must be purchased prior to departure from the UK, or locally (click here for further details). It is advisable to begin reading the manual prior to starting the course.

Packages for qualified divers include tanks, weights and air for 2 dives per day. PADI divers with the Scuba Diver qualification may have to pay a supplement locally for the services of a private guide.

2.Equipment hire €30 per day payable locally, for a full set of scuba diving equipment (Packages for Qualified Divers).
