This purpose built dive centre, situated on a house reef, offers both boat and shore diving packages. A 420m jetty extends directly from the dive club to the reef, with electric cars that are available for carrying equipment and divers for effortless access to the reef. A large turquoise-blue lagoon lies at the front of the reef and provides sheltered waters ideal for training. This House reef boasts a spectacular array of marine life from the smallest to the largest creatures, with common sightings of large pelagic, Barracuda, Turtles and Eagle rays.
Location: At the 5*+ Sheraton Soma Bay
Dive centre transfers: Guests will be collected from and returned to their hotels by Soma Bay complimentary shuttle bus except for guests staying at the InterContinental hotel Abu Soma who will need to arrange and pay for transfers locally.
Boat diving: Yes, 2 or 3 dives a day.
Shore diving: Yes
House reef: Yes
Technical Diving available: Rebreather diving on request.
Diving day: Boats depart at approximately 8.30am, arriving back between 3.30-5.00pm. Guided shore dives on the house reef at 10am, midday and 2pm.
Nitrox: Free 32% EAN for EAN qualified divers.
Camera hire: Yes
Lunch: €6 on boat, including drinks.
Non-Divers: Welcome on boat for snorkelling or relaxation, at a cost of €22, payable locally.
Local rules & etiquette: Maximum depth is 40m for recreational scuba divers. A Scuba Review is required, at a cost of €190, if you have not dived for a year or more. A guide is required at a cost of €6 per person per dive if you have logged 30 dives or less.
Other facilities: Two spacious dry rooms, changing facilities and showers, personal lockers, two air-conditioned bathrooms, a boutique and bar.

Packages, Courses & Prices
All Introductory dives and
Learn to Dive courses include equipment. Continuing education courses include tanks, weights and air. Certification and study materials are not
included in course prices. Study material must be purchased prior to
departure from the UK, or locally (click here
for further details). It is advisable to begin reading the manual
prior to starting the course.
Packages for qualified divers include tanks, weights, but do not include a guide. For divers with less than 30 logged dives, guided dives are compulsory. PADI divers with the Scuba Diver qualification may have to pay a supplement locally for the services of a
private guide.

1. PADI Certification fees €35 per course (Learn to Dive Courses & Continuing Education Courses).
