Who it's for: Children aged 10-14yrs*, who wish to learn to dive.
Duration: Four to five days.
Description: Share the adventure of learning to dive with your children. From the age of 10 years*, children can participate in the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course and become certified divers. The course follows the same format as the adult PADI Open Water Diver course. Junior Open Water Divers must dive with a buddy at least 18 years of age; for 10 & 11 year olds this must be a parent/guardian or PADI professional and maximum depth is 12m.
Upgrade from Scuba Diver to Junior Open Water Diver
If you've already completed the PADI Scuba Diver course, you can upgrade to PADI Junior Open Water Diver with a 2-2.5 day course, consisting of 2 knowledge developlment sessions, 2 confined water dives and 2 open water dives.

Where can I do the PADI Junior Open Water Diver Course?
You (or your children) can complete the PADI Open Water Diver at a number of our approved dive centres across the Red Sea:

• In Sharm el Sheikh with Red Sea Diving College or Red Sea Waterworld
• In Dahab with Reef 2000
• In Nuweiba with Emperor Divers
• In Taba & Taba Heights with Red Sea Waterworld or Aqua-Sport
• In El Gouna with Dive Tribe
• In Hurghada with Divers' Lodge
• In Eilat with Aqua-Sport Eilat or Red Sea Sports Club (Manta Dive Centre)
• In Aqaba with Seastar

* Please note that Israeli diving regulations do not permit 10-12 year olds to learn to dive in Israel; those staying in Eilat will therefore complete their dive courses in Taba, Egypt, with Aquasport.
