With options for both beginners and qualified divers, our Red Sea solo traveller weeks are held in a relaxed, comfortable environment at Reef 2000, one of the region's friendliest dive centres, in Dahab, a favourite amongst divers worldwide.

Solo Weeks for Beginners (option 1)

Learn to dive in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea on a course with other Longwood Holidays solo travellers. You will undertake a PADI Open Water Diver Course, the world's most recognised diving qualification, with friendly, English-speaking instructors in a laid-back, relaxed environment.

Solo Weeks for Qualified Divers (option 2)

Friends and family don't share your enthusiasm for the sport? No problems - enjoy the underwater paradise of the Red Sea with other qualified divers on a 5 day diving package, consisting of 10 guided shore dives. For a supplement, you can even reach your chosen dive site on a mini-safari by jeep or camel!
Prices start at £554 for 7nts. What's included?

Accommodation

Solo traveller weeks use the 2* Bedouin Moon, Dahab. The Bedouin Moon is a small, friendly hotel offering clean and comfortable accommodation. The sociable atmosphere and friendly staff as well as close proximity to Reef 2000 make this hotel the perfect choice for those travelling alone. Reef 2000

Reef 2000 is a British-owned PADI Dive Club run by your hosts Rochelle and David, and their experienced team of Divemasters and Instructors. They offer diver training following PADI and IANTD standards in a relaxed environment, ranging from the beginner-level Open Water course through to IANTD instructor courses.

Also on offer are guided shore dives for qualified divers, camel safaris and boat-diving safaris either locally or south to the famous sites of Ras Mohamed, the Straits of Tiran and the S/S Thistlegorm and various other activities for the diver and non-diver alike. These include yoga courses and yoga diving, visits to St Catherine's Monastery, evening dinner excursions into the mountains and snorkelling trips. More information >>

What's Included

Solo traveller weeks for beginners include flights from London Gatwick (flights from Manchester available at a supplement), taxes and surcharges, transfers to and from the hotel, 7nts accommodation at the Bedouin Moon (own room), PADI Open Water Course and full equipment.
Prices do not include the PADI Open Water Manual/Crew Pak or certification (see study materials info)
Note: Study material must be purchased either prior to departure from the UK, or locally. It is advisable to begin reading the manual prior to starting the course.

Solo traveller weeks for qualified divers include flights from London Gatwick (flights from Manchester available at a supplement), taxes and surcharges, transfers to and from the hotel, 7nts accommodation at the Bedouin Moon (own room), 5 day diving package (10 shore dives) and tanks, weights and air for 2 dives a day.
Prices do not include full equipment, which can be hired on site for 25 euros a day (payable locally).
