Essential Diving Info Location: Israel's southermost city on the northern tip of the Red Sea. Transfer time: Approximately 45mins from Ovda airport Dive centres: Aqua-Sport Eilat / Red Sea Sports Club Medical: Nearest recompression chamber / medical facilities are at Eilat hospital, 5km from the dive centres.

Summary: Diving in Eilat Eilat boasts warm waters, clear visibility and a wealth of marine species. Diving is conducted from the shore or by boat, with sites ranging from shallow coral gardens to drift and wall dives. Wreck and night dives are available to enhance your diving experience.

Diving Highlights Dolphin Reef Under the directions of a guide, divers can interact with the family of Dolphins that inhabit the area. The best time to visit the complex is early in the day, before many divers have been on site, this is when the Dolphins are at their most inquisitive and visibility is at its best. Moses Rock Shore dive in only 7 metres of water, with an approximate 400 metres underwater swim from the beach area, but lots to see getting there. The fish life is absolutely prolific here, a veritable paradise for underwater photographers. Japanese Gardens (Boat Dive) The depth here can vary from 12 - 47 metres. This reef and all areas nearby, fall under the authority of the Israeli Nature Reserve and there is usually a limit to the number of divers allowed to dive the site each day. However, if you have the opportunity, take it because the coral formations are absolutely stunning with fish life in abundance.

Marine Life Dolphins, squid, octopus, parrotfish, barracuda, glassfish, stonefish, crocodile fish, rays and moray eels.

Apres Dive Eilat is a well-established, European style resort with a variety of international restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs.
