Summary: Diving in Marsa Alam The offshore islands in this area have recently been reopened for diving after a long closure by the Egyptian Government and have been designated as a Marine Park. Suitable moorings have now been installed for dive boats visiting this area. Enjoy some fabulous day dives to the famous reefs of Elphinstone, Marsa Mubarak and Dolphin House Reef (Sha'ab Samadai), where there is a good chance to see dolphins in this beautiful protected National Park. The bays here are home to excellent corals, large turtles and Guitar rays and the islands off Marsa Alam are a highlight of the area. |
