Located approximately four hours south of Hurghada, Marsa Alam enjoys the same great year-round climate and is almost tropical in appearance, with palm trees, coral reefs and beaches of near-white, silky sand.

The area is especially popular with divers, attracted by the pristine reefs and variety of marine life.

Aqua Coraya Water Park
Located in Madinate Coraya, 5 km from Marsa Alam international airport, is the newly built water park, Aqua Coraya. Filled with waterslides, a children's pool and pool bar, it is a perfect family day out. Slides include Free Fall, Kamikaze & Turbo slide, with heights of more than 10 metres, the Rafting Slide with it's heart pounding drops and pulse racing dips and the Black Hole, the longest one, stretching as far as 40 metres. The slides and flumes are designed to suit the strength of every swimmer and ones for the whole family to enjoy.

Holidays in Port Ghalib

Port Ghalib is a developing resort with plans for a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars plus a kilometre long corniche featuring 110 retail outlets and a traditional Egyptian bazaar.*

At present Port Ghalib is a peaceful resort, home to the world's second largest man-made swimming lagoon (situated between the three hotels) and an international marina.

Port Ghalib also offers a unique Kids' Club (ages 4-12 in low season; 2-12 in high season) for children staying at all three hotels, allowing them to participate in a variety of activities and programmes such as treasure hunts, mini golf, bowling and much more. So while you're enjoying some rest and relaxation, you can rest assured that your children are getting the most out of their holiday as well.

We offer holidays to Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib year round from Gatwick. We may also be able to tailormake a holiday to Marsa Alam from some regional airports - please call us for further information.

All our flights are direct to Marsa Alam airport and include 20kg luggage allowance and taxes. In flight meals/snacks can be purchased on board.

About the South Coast Area

Across the Red Sea, east of the Sinai Peninsula, are a number of resorts on mainland Egypt. These include Hurghada, El Gouna, El Quseir and Soma Bay.

The area is characterised by sandy beaches and ideal conditions for a variety of watersports, including a year-round sea breeze that also makes these resorts slightly cooler in high summer than their sister Red Sea resorts on the Sinai.

The region enjoys comparatively easy access to Luxor, and these resorts make an ideal second, relaxing destination after a Nile Cruise or sight-filled stay in Luxor (see multi centre & Tailor-Made holidays).
