The InterContinental Hurghada is located on the sea
front, a few minutes south of Hurghada’s main facilities.
Hurghada is one of the best-known resorts on the Red Sea and is especially renowned as a watersports centre. The wide range of hotels and facilities and ever-growing nightlife makes the resort a favourite for divers and holidaymakers alike.

Diving & Snorkelling

Any visit to the Red Sea wouldn't be complete without discovering the incredible variety of life and colour beneath the waves. Learn to dive in the Red Sea, or snorkel on some of the world's best reefs.
Diving Guests staying at the InterContinental Hurghada have access to Divers' Lodge, our preferred dive centre partner in Hurghada. Divers' Lodge offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers, as well as a variety of watersports. The area is home to some of the Red Sea's best known dive sites including the Black Canyon and Careless Reef (more info on diving in Hurghada).
Snorkelling The InterContinental Hurghada does not have a house reef, but there is small reef near the hotel's dive centre, offering snorkelling opprtunities (only suitable for confident swimmers). Equipment can be hired from the dive centre at the hotel. Alternatively, guests can visit local dive sites such as Giftun Island National Park or Sharm el Naga by boat. |
