The Sheraton Miramar is based just a short distance from
El Gouna’s main facilities, overlooking
the lagoon and beaches of the resort.
El Gouna is a uniquely designed resort, built on and around small islands and lagoons, leading it to be likened to 'Venice on the Red Sea', and is approximately 30 minutes from Hurghada airport. Featuring a variety of in-resort activities on land and water including a championship 18 hole
golf course, a marina, range of shops and variety of options for dining and nightlife, El Gouna offers a peaceful yet varied holiday.

Any visit to the Red Sea wouldn't be complete without discovering the incredible variety of life and colour beneath the waves. Learn to dive in the Red Sea, or snorkel on some of the world's best reefs.
Diving Guests staying at the Movenpick El Gouna can dive with our chosen dive centre partner in El Gouna, Dive Tribe, who provide transfers from the Sheraton Miramar to the dive centre and back. Dive Tribe offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers, as well as a variety of watersports. El Gouna is the perfect base for wreck diving, with the famed Abu Nuhas 'ship graveyard' an hour and a half away by boat.
Snorkelling There are good snorkelling opportunities from the hotel, with a coral easily accessible from the shore. Zeytouna beach, next door to the Sheraton, is also a good location for beginners, with a pontoon jutting out to the outer part of the reef. Equipment can be hired at the hotel's watersports centre. Alternatively, guests may choose to visit the islands of Tawila and Gubal, or various other snorkelling sites, on a boat day trip with Dive Tribe. |
