The Sheraton Soma Bay is built on a sandy beach on the Soma Bay peninsula.
Around 60km
south of Hurghada airport and 12km north of Safaga on the Red
Sea coast of Egypt, Soma Bay is a peaceful resort with stretches of beautiful sandy beaches and is a great area for snorkelling.
A range of excursions and activities are available from Soma Bay; from trips to Luxor or Cairo to exploring the desert on camel - see tours & excursions available from Soma Bay.

freshwater swimming pools (2 of which are temperature-controlled)
with separate children’s
pool. The diving centre offers full PADI courses, while water
sports include sailing (laser and catamaran),
snorkelling trips, and more. Other leisure facilities
include billiards, croquet, darts, table tennis,
tennis and squash. Activities centre offering daily
aerobics, aqua gym and stretching, a gymnasium,
massage and sauna. |

Diving Guests staying at the Sheraton Soma Bay can dive with our chosen dive partner in Soma Bay, Orca Dive Club - coveniently located at the Sheraton. Orca offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers including boat and shore diving.
Snorkelling The Sheraton has its own house reef, which can be accessed from the beach or jetty and offers good snorkelling opportunities, with a variety of fish. Equipment can be hired from the dive centre at the hotel. Alternatively, guests may wish to visit nearby sites such as Sharm el Naga. |
