Named after Theodore Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, Herzlia lies about 15km north of Tel Aviv, on the Mediterranean coast. An upmarket beach resort, Herzlia features six beautiful beaches of golden sand, with a 2km promenade along the seafront, and one of the largest marinas in the Middle East.
Herzlia is home to a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and watersports facilities, and is also within easy reach of Tel Aviv and its exciting nightlife.
