An ideal combination of city and beach break, this multi-centre itinerary allows you to combine the hustle and bustle of Marrakech with a stay in the pretty seaside town of Essaouira.

 

Sample Itinerary

 

Day 1

Depart from the UK for your flight to Marrakech. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for the next 3 nights.

Day 2 and 3

After breakfast spend the day enjoying the sights and sounds of vibrant Marrakech. Soak up the atmosphere at Marrakech's main square D'Jemma el Fna which comes to life at night with an abundance of dancers, snake charmers and entertainers. After a trip to D'Jemma el Fna sample one of the many fine dining experiences in Marrakech. During the day snap up a bargain in the colourful souk full of traders selling traditional goods, explore the ancient architecture or take a calish (horse drawn carriage) around the city walls. Overnight in Marrakech.

 

Day 4 - 6

Depart Marrakech for your transfer to the seaside town of Essaouira. A main fishing port, sampling the fantastic seafood available in restaurants or at outdoor fish stalls is a must. Alternatively dive down into the narrow alleyways and whitewashed walls of the charming old town and haggle in the colourful souk or relax on the beach. For the more active play a spot of basketball, beach volleyball or football. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 7 and 8
Depart Essaouira for your transfer back to Marrakech for a 2 night stay. If you'd like to use your extra two days in Marrakech to further afield, Marrakech is ideally located to explore the nearby High Atlas and Middle Atlas mountain ranges. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 9

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech airport for your return flight to the UK.
