Getting around
You're never far from the beach in Agadir, and it is indeed the favoured walkway for tourists and locals alike; you'll find people taking a walking, jogging, cycling and playing football along the water's edge. The promenade at the north end of the beach is lined with cafes and restaurants and comes alive at night, when people of all ages converge on the walkway for an evening stroll. There are also numerous taxis in the resort, easily recognisable by their bright yellow colour, and hotel cars, which are slightly more expensive.

Dining
There's lots of dining choices in Agadir, representing a range of cuisines and dining styles - from fine French restaurants to take away pizza. Seafood lovers will especially enjoy the locally fished fresh seafood, available at numerous outlets. Many restaurants and cafes line the promenade near the marina and at the north end of the beach, and others are found in the town centre. The hotels themselves also offer a range of options, for those who like to stay closer to home.

Shopping
You'll find several shops dotted around the promenade and the centre of the resort, and more as you head inland away from the beach. For an authentic shopping experience, visit Agadir's souk - where the locals shop. It's an intense experience, full of sights, sounds and colours, and you can pick up a bargain on clothes, food and crafts.
