APD Charges
In December, the government passed new legislation that increased the Airport Passenger Duty (APD) by £20 (for a return economy flight) for all holidays departing on or after 1 February 2007.
How this affects bookings:
- Bookings made before 18 December
Customers and agents who have booked before the 18 December will not have to pay the £20 surcharge; this will be covered by Longwood Holidays.
- Bookings made after 18 December
Customers and agents booking after this date must pay the £20 surcharge, and this will be added on to the holiday price.
Please note that the APD surcharge is not included in our special offer prices, or the prices displayed on the first page of the booking engine (discounts are also not displayed on the first page).
