***Longwood Launches A New Booking Engine ***

In order to make booking online with Longwood Holidays a quicker and more straightforward experience, the tour operator has redeveloped its online booking engine.
Tara Bradberry, Longwood's Marketing Manager said: "Thanks to the changeover the online booking process has been streamlined and made more user-friendly with a host of new features."
The made-to-measure booking engine, launched on 5 November, now features a live availability search on the home page and on resort home pages. Prices can be seen throughout the booking process and there is no need to input passenger names to see the final price. Even better, commission details are also visible to agents throughout the booking process.
The new system allows agents to book hotels only online (excluding Taba, Taba Heights & Nuweiba) as well as children’s places. Advanced search options are a useful addition, enabling agents to pre-select features particularly important to a client, for example SPA or sport facilities, family friendliness or the location on the beach. Moreover, the Add-ons section has added content to help agents choose the right diving and golf options for their customers.
All Longwood bookings will now be documented by email - invoices, vouchers or flight tickets will no longer be sent by post. The travel agents’ login details and passwords will remain the same, although the way agents log in has changed; they now need to follow the “Travel Agents click here” link at the top of the first page of the booking engine (after selecting their chosen hotel).
The agents’ area of the website - home to the latest news, incentives, FAMs, agent holidays and more – will keep operating and will be accessible at www.longwoodholidays.co.uk/agents.
