North Africa and Middle East specialist Longwood Holidays have seen their Jordan sales increase significantly reporting over 120% increase in the first four months of this year, compared to the same period last year.

“We’ve seen unprecedented interest in Jordan over the past few months,” said Tara Bradberry, Longwood Holidays Marketing Manager. “Petra recently being voted one of the new Seven Wonders of the World has caught peoples’ imagination, and inspired them to find out more about what’s on offer across the country as a whole.”

Longwood are able to package up holidays to Jordan in a number of ways, including multi-centre trips and guided tours, using their new weekly allocation of seats to Amman.  

“Our allocation of seats has really opened up the way we sell Jordan” commented Bradberry. “A lot of people are looking for a multi-centre experience -  a couple of nights city-break style in Amman, followed by a couple of days exploring the historical sights of Petra, and ending with a few nights relaxation in the Red Sea resort of Aqaba, or the Dead Sea.’
