Red Sea specialists Longwood Holidays have reported a massive increase in bookings for the Northern Sinai resort of Taba Heights and surrounding resorts of Taba, Taba Coast and Nuweiba, leading to an almost complete sell out in January.
“We’re very happy with the situation in the Taba region.” commented Rafi Caplin, Longwood Holidays MD. “The unfortunate incidents earlier in the year in Sharm seemed to have a knock-effect for many of the other Red Sea resorts, and Taba was quite badly affected. To have turned that around in a couple of months to a sell-out situation is fantastic.”
One of the strategies that has enabled this success is the operator’s introduction of value-added offers at flagship hotel the 5* Hyatt Regency in Taba Heights and the all-inclusive favourite 4* Coral Hilton Nuweiba. Including a range of extras such as free massages and excursions, these offers have been extended to April and February respectively.
To meet demand, Longwood is now offering the Coral Hilton Nuweiba on its Sharm el Sheikh flights and holidays at its extensive range of Taba hotels via Ovda airport, in Israel.
Prices start at £339 for 7nts HB at the 5* Hyatt Regency Taba Heights, including free half hour massage, free excursion to St Catherine’s Monastery, free upgrade to seaview room, 25% discount on local beer & wine and 20 euro voucher off a PADI Open Water course with Red Sea Waterworld).
