Longwood Holidays’ new accommodation programme is growing rapidly, with trade sales doubling over the summer months.
“We’ve seen a lot of demand since we fully launched our accommodation only product in April 2007.” said Alan Meadows, Longwood Holidays Agency Sales Manager “ We differentiate ourselves by concentrating on selling the top end of the range – the hotels we most successfully sell package holidays to – and, because we act as the principal and include our in-resort representative service for accommodation bookings, agents and their customers can rest assured that they will be well-looked after when they book with us.”
Sharm el Sheikh has proved the most popular resort, with the mainland resorts of Hurghada and El Gouna also attracting a good proportion of guests.
“We’re selling our seats well in advance this year,” commented Meadows “and once that capacity has gone, agents are coming to us for accommodation only because we have good rates at the big name hotels.”
