***Diving Sales Could be Key Earner for Agents***

Many agents are missing out on extra commission by not selling their Red Sea customers diving packages, says Longwood Holidays Dive Product Manager Dan Lion.
“We’ve seen almost a 40% increase in introductory dives and packages for learners, and a 25% increase in diving packages bought by qualified divers over the last year.” said Lion “This indicates that there are a lot of people out there interested in diving, and encouraging them to book beforehand helps them plan their holiday, guarantees a place on busy courses and often saves them money as we have specially negotiated rates with the top Dive Centres.”
But one of the key incentives for agents is the extra money that they can earn on the sale – as Longwood Holidays offers the same high rates of commission on dive packages as it does on holidays.
“We’ve had feedback from a lot of customers who have booked their diving in-resort because they weren’t aware of the options at the time of booking their holiday – which is just a massive shame, because both the customer and the agent selling them the holiday have lost out financially.” commented Dan.
“If an agent is simply unsure of what’s on offer, or what to recommend to customers, we have our own specialist dive team who can advise. We also publish an annual Red Sea Diving brochure, which offers diving tips, reviews of diving sites and comprehensive information on each resort and dive centre.”
