Longwood Holidays have successfully launched their comprehensive new season Red Sea Diving brochure valid for October 2009-October 2010. The new 68-page brochure includes diving in El Quseir for the first time with the British owned Pharaoh Dive Club, plus the introduction of Easy Divers dive centre in Hurghada.
“With the introduction of El Quseir to our portfolio we now feature 11 Red Sea diving resorts – making our new season dive brochure one of the most comprehensive guides to Red Sea diving available” said Dan Lion Longwood Holidays Dive Product Manager. “El Quseir offers diving on amazing, pristine reefs with close up encounters of the local marine life which includes a dugong at Marsa Waled, dolphins, turtles, rays and sharks.”
The addition of Easy Divers in Hurghada – located at the 5* Hilton Plaza – provides a second alternative dive centre to people wishing to dive in the resort.
“Hurghada as a resort covers a vast area with a number of bustling tourist areas” said Lion. “We already offer Divers’ Lodge in the south of the resort and we felt it was important for us to add a resort in the north of the resort to cater for all divers wherever they may be staying.”
Following the same successful format as last year, this year’s brochure features a selection of accommodation from Longwood’s comprehensive portfolio, chosen specifically to suit divers’ needs. New for this year is the 4* Breakers Diving and Surfing Lodge in Soma Bay due to open in November 2009. The Breakers is located opposite Soma Bay’s magnificent house reef and next door to Orca Divers, Longwood’s chosen dive centre in the resort.
“Soma Bay is set to be a real haven for divers” said Lion “which is why we felt it was important to introduce a hotel to our programme that was more suited to divers needs to complement the more upmarket properties we currently feature in the resort.”
Back by popular demand are the operator’s solo traveller weeks, plus a selection of buy one get one free and buy one get one half price offers on diving packages and courses at selected dive centres on certain dates.
The brochure follows the same informative and easy to use format as last year with in-depth information about the packages and courses on offer and dive centre information, plus diving highlights in each resort and the underwater life divers can expect to see.
