***Longwood Launches Biggest Ever Brochure***

This week destination specialists Longwood Holidays launch their new season 2008-2009 Egypt, Jordan & Morocco brochure - their biggest, glossiest and most ambitious offering to date. Featuring for the first time the Moroccan destinations of Agadir and Marrakech, Marsa Alam on Egypt’s Red Sea and golf holidays, the brochure also includes a small taster of Longwood’s well established Israel programme.
“We’re really excited about this brochure,” commented Tara Bradberry, Longwood Holidays Marketing Manager. “For the first time we’ve included almost everything in a single brochure – it’s basically a Longwood brand portfolio, which reaffirms our positioning as specialists to North Africa and the Middle East and will help remind customers of all the different products we now offer. Our programme has developed rapidly over the last couple of years with the inclusion of Morocco and golf, as well as more hotels and itineraries in the Red Sea, Classical Egypt and Jordan. Many agents know us as primarily Red Sea specialists, and we hope that this brochure will promote our newer programmes to a wider audience, as well as help agents cross sell to their own customers.”
In addition to expanded content, the new brochure also benefits from an updated design and glossy front cover. “The new design is very modern and appealing,” said Bradberry. “As well as being eye-catching, the layout makes it easier to find key information, and agents in particular should benefit from the inclusion of updated maps and introduction pages for all our featured resorts.”
Morocco, the most recent addition to Longwood’s portfolio, is afforded prime position, with seventeen hotels and riads in ever-popular Marrakech and eight hotels in the beach resort of Agadir featuring at the front of the brochure. “We felt it was important to give Morocco as much coverage as possible, bearing in mind it’s a completely new programme for us, and many agents are probably unaware of all the properties we feature. It’s been on sale since late last year, and bookings are certainly starting to pick up, but we’re hoping that this brochure will really boost our sales” said Bradberry.
Bolstering Longwood’s selection of Red Sea resorts on Egypt’s mainland, Marsa Alam is also new for this brochure and features six hotels, four of which are in the exciting new Port Ghalib development.
Also featured is a small selection of the operator’s Israel programme, including the seven night Holy Land Highlights guided tour and hotels in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the Red Sea resort of Eilat. “Israel is seeing a resurgence in bookings as consumer confidence in the country as a holiday destination has returned,” commented Bradberry. “We’re hoping to take advantage of this by providing people with a little taster of what’s on offer.
