Location & Getting There

The golf course is located in the heart of Taba Heights, between the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea and the majestic Sinai mountain range. The course is easily accessible from all the resort's hotels and a complimentary shuttle bus runs between the hotels, dive centre and golf course throughout the day. Alternatively, guests may prefer a gentle stroll along the beach.

Please abide by the following restrictions with reference to dress:

• Golf/Polo Shirts with collar must be worn
• No flip flop shoes on the practice area and on the course
• Only golf or sporting shoes are permitted on the course (soft spikes only)
• No damaged clothes or denim
  
• No revealing beach clothes (women or men) or swimwear on the course and in clubhouse area
• Practice areas have a relaxed dress code.

Golf Course Regulations

• Sharing of golf clubs is forbidden
• No children or juniors under age 18 allowed to drive carts
• Maximum handicap allowance is 45
• Non handicap golfers are requested to contact golf management and may be required to golf with head professional or hire a caddie
• Before 10am golfers' handicap must be below 28 Men and 36 Ladies, unless prior arrangement with golf management
• Tee off times for 9 hole rounds are only available from 7am-8am and after 1pm
• Tee off times are subject to change
• Golfers may be requested to 'pair' into a 2, 3 or 4 ball

Golf Cart Use

• 1 golf cart is complimentary with your green fee
• Additional carts are charged at 25 Euro (please show receipt to starter/marshal)
• Only two persons are allowed on each golf cart
• Please follow all course signage and take care on difficult terrain
• Keep all golf carts at least 10 metres from greens
• Golf carts are NOT allowed to any hotel, resident villa or downtown
• Management will charge for any damage caused by careless driving.

Disregarding any rules as stated by club management or course marshal may result in a ban from Taba Heights Golf Course.

The competition takes place at Hole 13 Par 3 (outside the Hyatt Regency), where you can enjoy refreshments and observe the competition. Every participant receives 5 balls, and whoever manages to putt nearest the pin wins a great prize from Taba Heights Golf Club. Anyone who makes a hole in one wins a free holiday - 7nts at the Hyatt Regency Taba, flights from the UK and a week's free golf.

Taba Heights Golf Course offers a different set of prices for guests staying within Taba Heights, and guests staying outside the resort.

Details on the Holes

The first hole gently eases toward the vast mountain range which sets the scene for the first six holes. The sixth hole, in particular is a long uphill Par 5 with three separate playing areas. Those brave enough to battle the flood canal may be rewarded with birdie. From the seventh tee the course meanders through desert and rocks back down to the splashing waves of the Red Sea.

The short Par 3 eighth hole again crosses the desert and flood canal and features the largest bunker on the course. Hole 12 is cradled by the mountains and is a feature of the back nine, challenging guests with careful placement of ten bunkers and at 640 yards the monstrous 14th is the longest championship hole in Egypt. The green of 17 and the tee of 18 lie less than a small pitch from the water’s edge where our resident camel lies as a spectator for your final drive.
