Day 1: Monday Depart from the UK for your flight to Ovda, Israel, where you will be met by Longwood Holidays
and transferred to the Eilat-Aqaba border. After crossing the
border you will be met by Jordan Circle Tours and transferred
to Aqaba.
Overnight: Aqaba.
Day 2: Tuesday Travel from Aqaba to Amman by road* or air.
Overnight: Amman
*Optional trip to the Dead Sea en route available. Call reservations for further details.
Day 3: Wednesday Morning tour of Amman city, including the Roman Amphitheatre and
Citadel. Afternoon visit to Jerash and Ajloun.
Overnight: Amman
Day 4: Thursday Morning drive towards Petra via the King’s
Highway, visiting Madaba, Mount Nebo and Kerak.
Overnight: Petra
Day 5: Friday Full day in Petra exploring the many wondrous sites
in the city.
Overnight: Petra
Day 6: Saturday Morning visit to Wadi Rum. Continue on to Aqaba.
Overnight: Aqaba.
Day 7: Sunday Full day at leisure in Aqaba.
Overnight: Aqaba.
Day 8: Monday Morning at leisure in Aqaba. Around midday, cross
the border back to Israel and on to Ovda Airport.

From Wednesday to Saturday, you will be accompanied by a qualified,
English-speaking guide.
All vehicles are air-conditioned.
As so many sites are visited, this tour may not be suitable for the very elderly or people with walking difficulties.
It may be necessary to amend the itinerary due to prevailing local circumstances. We will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible.
Border Procedures
Guests travelling on this itinerary must cross the Israel-Jordan border at Aqaba, about an hour's drive from the airport of arrival (Ovda).
All guests will be required to pay taxes at the border, as follows:
Israeli departure tax - approx £10
Jordanian departure tax - approx £5 (on return journey)
NOTE: British passport holders do not currently require a visa to enter Israel or Jordan if arriving at Aqaba. For more details regarding this procedure, please click here.
